Dennis Toscano’s love of music and fascination with Lyrics led him
to pick up the guitar and teach himself to play. His natural talent
and unique voice has led him to front several classic rock bands.
Purple Hearts, Tremours, and Clearview, with Dennis as the lead
singer, has rocked the New York Area in the past 20 years.
When Dennis picked up the guitar he found he had a gift for writing
and has accumulated a library of original works, which he performs
with his original band, D-N-A as well as in his solo performances.
He released his solo CD entitled “Songs from the Heart” in 2000 and
in 2006 his second CD entitled “What Goes Around”. Check out

His influences include Elvis, Rod Stewart, Bruce Springsteen, Bob
Dylan, Neil Diamond, Neil Young as well as favorites from The
Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bee Gees, Crosby Stills Nash, Creedence,
Eagles, Mama’s & PaPa’s, Green Day and 3 Doors Down, just to name a
few.
His solo performances include a wide variety of music from the early
rock and pop music to the hits of today. His vocal style has been
compared to John Lennon, Paul Simon and James Taylor, among others.
Dennis’ talent shines through in his solo performances at
Blackstones to include his long list of crowd pleasing favorites
which creates audience participation. His performances usually move
his audiences from their seats to dancing or up to the extra mic,
sets up for his audience to sing along.
When Dennis performs at Blackstones’, it’s a fun and exciting
evening for all.
